10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.	• Attachment nomenclature • Defining areas of operation • Use of load chart • Solving lift problems
11:15 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.	• Audiovisual program on crane safety • "Question and Answer" period • Use of hand signals • General review • Test on material covered
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.	• Identification of controls • Correct method of setting the machine on outriggers
1:45 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.	• "Tracking" loads • Simultaneous operation of several crane functions
2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.	• Solving practical lift problems using load chart • Driving • Use of hand signals • OSHA general checklist for this type of machine • The use of personnel Baskets

 

 

HANDS-ON TRAINING - SECOND DAY

1. Identification of all cab controls (upper and lower) and instruments, including warning devices. 2. Set up crane for traveling, check oil, fuel and etc. before starting. 3.
